About The Position
The Department of Labor is seeking a CareerCenter Consultant to provide employment services to individuals and employers/businesses. This role involves interviewing, assessing needs, and guiding customers in making career, education, and training decisions. The consultant will determine eligibility, refer customers to programs, services, and employment opportunities, manage caseloads of customers participating in education and training programs, and facilitate employment and training-related workshops. Additionally, the position may include providing business services to Maine employers, including recruitment and training assistance.
