About The Position
Roxbury Community College (RCC) is seeking a Career and Internship Services (CIS) Student Jobs Coordinator to play a critical role in coordinating a student jobs program as part of a new initiative named Roxbury Promise. This position is designed to advance a holistic approach to economic mobility by providing paid experiential opportunities and wrap-around supportive services as part of every student's career pathway to a life-sustaining wage. The coordinator will operationalize non-Federal Work Study student employment, working closely with students, on-campus supervisors, and off-campus employers to support student success and ensure program effectiveness. The role includes managing the application and placement process, facilitating hiring, and ensuring timely payment to students. The coordinator will also support the development and implementation of the student jobs program, maintain an asset-based approach to community engagement, and contribute to the overall success of the Center for Economic and Social Justice (CESJ).
