The Career and Employment Specialist for the Transition University for Career Advancement and Successful Adulthood (Transition University) program coordinates and monitors all career-based learning and employment opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities. This role ensures implementation of various work-based learning experiences, supports post-completion workforce tracking, and collaborates with staff and external partners to provide individualized, person-centered guidance. The specialist advances students’ academic, career, and independent living goals by facilitating community partnerships, providing timely support, and fostering responsive programming. Position Hours: 100% on-site at the San Antonio campus and/or at related site visits to support program participants in the field. Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexibility to work beyond normal hours including evenings and weekends as necessary. Work will include student support and engagement. This is a grant funded position. This is a grant-funded position that is based on the continuation of the grant (for up to five years)
