Assisting with equipment and supplies. Housekeeping duties to turn over rooms between cases. Assisting in positioning patients for procedures. Assisting in transporting patients. Assisting with transporting labs/specimens. Providing excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team. Assisting patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure the patient has a safe, organized environment. Assisting with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician. Supporting the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.

Requirements

Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider

Nice To Haves

Multiple patient care skills preferred.
Prefer one year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities.
