Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. We care for adult patients 18 and older who are being treated for a variety of medical diagnoses. These diagnoses cover a wide range of disease processes including pulmonary, renal, hepatology, endocrine, and post-procedural patients. Some of our patient population requires knowledge of home vents, wound care, as well as care of patients on some continuous medication drips, including insulin. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following:
Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), or
Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), or
Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.
