We are seeking hard-working, positive, and loving Care Partners that want to be part of the Rakhma family. We currently have full-time and part-time openings at our Minnetonka location. Available positions as follows: These will be consistent shifts every week not rotating Sunday-Tuesday 12 hours (Full time) 7:30a-8:00p Wednesday 12 hours (Part time) 7:30a-8:00p Thursday-Saturday 12 hours (Full time) 7:30a-8:00p Job responsibilities: All of our Care Partners are responsible for resident engagement/activities, caregiving, med passing, housekeeping (cleaning, organizing, deep cleaning), cooking, sometimes snow shoveling, and attending/completing required learning. These positions include supporting a Spanish speaking resident. All employees accrue Earned Safe and Sick Time. Employees who work 20 or more hours per week earn Paid Time Off. Enjoy a competitive salary (starting wage dependent upon experience, ability to support multiple homes or pick up additional on-call weekends). Starting wages: $19.00 - $23.00/hour dependent upon experience (there will be a $1.00 wage increase after approved for med passing).

Requirements

  • EDUCATION LEVEL: High School diploma or Equivalent. Must be 18 years or older.
  • No prior experience or training is required. Care Partner must successfully complete training provided by Rakhma. Dementia experience preferred.
  • No certification is required, but HHA or CNA certification is welcome. Training in dementia care is provided.
  • CPs must successfully complete ongoing trainings, provided by Rakhma.
  • Staff must successfully complete a background check with the Department of Human Services to be eligible for employment.
  • To perform the job successfully, an individual must have reliable transportation and dependable communication methods to ensure punctuality and regular attendance.

  • Interpersonal skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands, climb stairs, balance, stoop, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
