What You'll do As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations: You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs. You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder's health or behavior to the Wellness Team. You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role. You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support. You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being. You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests. You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

Requirements

• willingness to learn and work within a team environment
• good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English
• licensing documentation (if required by your state)
• pass a criminal background check
• ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation
