Care Partner - U FT (2p-10p)

About the position

The position involves providing direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Additionally, the position requires assisting with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques. Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff is also a key responsibility. The role includes assisting with meal service and feeding residents as needed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, and participating in resident activities and socialization opportunities. Accurate documentation of resident care and observations is essential, along with the ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas.
• Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
• Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in assisted living healthcare setting is preferred.
