About The Position

The Care Partner position at Chapters Living of Wheeling is a PRN (as needed) role focused on providing direct care to residents in an assisted living environment. Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an assisted living facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas.
• Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
• Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
