The Care Partner I plays a crucial role in supporting the nursing staff by providing essential patient care. The Care Partner I must demonstrate competency in determining orthostatic blood pressures and performing blood glucose monitoring. Additionally, they will be responsible for collecting, transporting, and entering data for lab specimens in accordance with established policies. The role also involves obtaining blood products from the Blood Bank and effectively communicating any significant changes in a patient's condition to the nurse. Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment is another critical aspect of this position. The Care Partner I will ensure that patient rooms, medication rooms, and emergency airway supplies are well-stocked and organized.
