Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assists in direct patient care specific to the unit assigned.
• Performs EKGs and Behavioral Health Observation.
• Assists with patient transfers and repositioning.
• Transports patients, supplies, or specimens as needed.
• Maintains supplies, equipment, and unit environmental standards.
• Provides patient care based on the nursing process as directed by the RN/LPN.
• Assists with procedures according to organizational standards.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills and empathy towards patients and co-workers.
• Complies with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations specific to the unit.
• Maintains annual education requirements prior to due date.
