About The Position
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Care-Partner/CNA for Med/Surg as a Full-time Day Shift in Nashville, TN. This Care Partner position will be a Certified Nursing Assistant that is primarily responsible for providing direct care for assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. A care partner/CNA gets direction from a licensed nurse to assist the patient with needs and tasks. Requirements
- Licensure by the State of Tennessee as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- BLS Required
Responsibilities
- Taking and recording patient vitals
- Helping patients with daily tasks, including getting dressed and using the restroom
- Monitoring patient progress and maintaining health records
- Fostering strong relationships with patients and making patients feel comfortable
- Aiding communication between patients and healthcare teams
- Communicating with the patient's family
- Helping patients plan for hospital discharge
