Care Partner / CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
The Ridge Foothill is seeking caring and qualified full-time and part-time Caregivers / Care Partners for all shifts. The company has a new Nursing Leadership Team and offers opportunities for career advancement, including paying for CNA Class and Certification for interested team members. The mission of The Ridge Senior Living is to consistently craft a living experience that seniors can’t get anywhere else, achieved through successful, caring individuals actively involved in the daily successes of the communities. The role involves assisting residents by supporting their personal hygiene and daily living needs, working continuously with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. Requirements
- Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
- Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Minimum age of 16
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide resident centered personal care including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support
- Assist residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
- Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks and supplements
- Document resident care and behavior
