About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to join our team at The Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa, Missouri. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $17.00-$18.00 per hour. The Care Partner will work a shift schedule that includes evenings and weekends, specifically Monday, Saturday, and Sunday in Week 1, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7pm to 11pm in Week 2. The role involves creating human connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments and assisting them with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. We are looking for someone who embodies empathy, generosity, engagement, and proactivity in their work.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude towards residents.
  • Basic computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
