About The Position

The position involves providing direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Additionally, the position requires assisting with mobility and transfers using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques. Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff is also a key responsibility. The role includes assisting with meal service and feeding residents as needed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, participating in resident activities and socialization opportunities, and maintaining accurate documentation of resident care and observations. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for this position.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in assisted living healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
