About The Position
The CareNet Director serves as the primary leader of CareNet, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (AHWFBMC) and part of the FaithHealth Division. The Director is accountable to the Board of Trustees of CareNet, Inc. for the operations of the corporation. This role involves overseeing a statewide network of spiritually integrated counseling facilities and managing the planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating of pastoral counseling and behavioral health services delivered by CareNet, Inc. The Director is responsible for developing and managing the annual CareNet budget and achieving the department's objectives. Additionally, the Director directly supervises CareNet administrative staff and regional managers, conducting performance evaluations, and making decisions regarding hiring, terminations, promotions, pay, and disciplinary actions. The Director leads the subsidiary to provide highly professional care for its clients, ensuring compliance with standards set by professional certifying bodies, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers. The role also includes exemplifying the AHWFB Values and Code of Conduct, identifying compliance risks, and managing the budget and financial operations of CareNet, Inc. Furthermore, the Director develops strategic operational plans to enhance clinical effectiveness and promote the financial viability and operational effectiveness of the department and CareNet, Inc. The position requires expanding and maintaining positive working relationships with local sponsoring boards and organizations, collaborating with Behavioral Health services lines, and providing leadership to state and national behavioral health organizations and networks.
