The Montana Assistance Program (MAP) works for the department on behalf of 6 licensing boards and 1 licensing program. The program is available to over 60,000 licensed Montana providers who may be suffering from substance abuse, mental, or physical issues. As care coordinator you serve as the initial point of contact and liaison for licensees seeking to utilize the program (participants). The role plays a significant part in ensuring that the public is protected and licensees get access to care without the associated stigma. MISSION STATEMENT: Empowering all Montanans through work and opportunity. Position Overview: As Care Coordinator, you will provide initial non-clinical intervention to licensees in crisis. Additionally, the role directly supports the MAP Program Coordinator in ensuring compliance with regulations as well as facilitating the overall operations of the program. The role blends your combined expertise in support of a larger organization that directly impacts the public and licensees. This is a non-treatment position.
