About The Position

ProActive Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team! The position involves managing front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while providing exceptional customer service. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, with travel required for in-person coverage to various Portland Metro locations. The first two weeks of employment will involve training at our Gresham location. The salary for this position ranges from approximately $16.00/hr to $20.00/hr.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Basic office and customer service skills
• Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required

Responsibilities

• Managing front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while providing exceptional customer service.
• Verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments to support accurate billing and ensure smooth patient access to care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documentation.
• Answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner while upholding HIPAA compliance and fostering a welcoming healthcare environment.
