Evening & Overnight Care Companion Needed
About The Position
We’re looking for dependable, hands‑on caregivers who want meaningful work supporting adults in their homes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, and helping clients maintain independence through mobility support, daily tasks, and practical assistance. Please note: Due to the sensitive nature of in‑home care, applicants with felony or relevant misdemeanor convictions cannot be considered. Requirements
- Must pass a South Carolina SLED background check
- Minimum of 6 months experience with seniors or chronically ill individuals
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and punctual
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (if transporting clients)
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screen
Nice To Haves
- CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred
- Experience with WellSky is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, personalized in‑home care
- Provide hands‑on support with toileting, bathing, dressing, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Assist with mobility, safety monitoring, and comfort care
- Help reduce hospital re‑admissions through attentive care
- Build trust with clients and families through professionalism and empathy
- Work confidently during overnight or full‑day shift
- Support meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily living routines
- Document care activities and observations as required
