About The Position

Join the Novant Health Coastal Carolina Hospital Team as a Care Associate! Location: 1000 Medical Center Dr, Hardeeville, South Carolina 29927 Shift: 7am-7pm, full time What You'll Do Duties: The Care Associate provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living, comfort measures, and maintains a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Requirements

• Education: High School or GED, Required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion Novant Health sponsored training program, required.
• Completion of Novant Health Safety Attendant training, required.
• Additional Skills Required: Upon completion of the Novant Health sponsored training program, the Care Associate works within the guidelines of nursing and Novant Health policies and procedures.
• Must exhibit strong communication skills; ability to write effectively; effective computer skills, and strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Additional Skills Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR) and Safety Attendant duties may be assigned as determined by unit leaders and unit needs.
• If needed in the MUR role, the Care Associate must be able to perform the MUR skills as indicated in the MUR job description.
• If needed in the Safety attendant role, the Care Associate must complete appropriate training and be able to perform the Safety Attendant skills as indicated in the Safety Attendant job description.
