About The Position

The Care Associate in Assisted Living at Renaissance on Peachtree is responsible for providing essential support to residents in their daily activities, ensuring they maintain their dignity and quality of life. Requirements

• At least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the schedule of resident's needs set by the supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance provided to residents.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality.
