About The Position

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Care Assistant to support a Veteran male client in the Lee’s Summit area. This role includes personal care support and companionship, with a strong emphasis on comfort, dignity, and emotional presence . SCHEDULE: 2pm to 5pm give or take a little on start and stop. Requirements

Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally
Must be 18 years or older
Must hold a valid Driver's License
Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers

Nice To Haves

Hospice or end-of-life care experience preferred (formal or informal)
CNA-level skill set or equivalent hands-on caregiving experience (Active CNA certification is not required, but candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical caregiving skills)
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
A strong sense of respect, professionalism, and advocacy for the client’s comfort and well-being
A compassionate, patient, and reliable individual who values building genuine connections
