About The Position
Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking an Early Morning Care Assistant Needed – Private In-Home Care (N. Lee’s Summit/S. Blue Springs Area) Apply Once and be considered for all of QCKC's positions! We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Care Assistant to support a wonderful adult client in her home in Lee’s Summit . This is private in-home care for a physically disabled adult recovering from an injury (non-senior). Preferred Schedule: 🕖 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM Additional hours may be available for the right fit. About the Client: She is a kind and pleasant individual who values dignity, organization, and consistency. She requires assistance with: Restroom needs Showering and personal care (good organization and attention to detail are important) Light housekeeping Transfers (some lifting required, but not heavy )
Requirements
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and assist with transfers safely
- Strong bedside manner and respectful communication
- Dependable and punctual — reliability is crucial , as this is part of a 24/7 care schedule
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive
- Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must hold a valid Driver's License
- Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers
Responsibilities
- Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers.
- Show up on TIME!
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs etc.
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
