About The Position

Home Instead is recruiting for Waking Night Care Professionals across East Fife. We are looking for kind, caring & reliable people who are able to do waking nights. Waking nights responsibilities include supporting our clients frequently during the night supporting them with any needs such as personal care and companionship. Areas we cover include: Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Markinch, Leven, Cupar, Ceres, St Andrews and the East Neuk. Only Driver positions are currently available - Must have license and own car.

Requirements

• No experience or particular qualifications needed as full training is given.
• Useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people.

Nice To Haves

• Personal experience of caring for a family member.
• Voluntary experience.

Responsibilities

• 10 hour shift.
• Frequently supporting client during the night.
• Introductions to all new clients.
• Your own space in client's home for your personal space and belongings.
• Providing personal care, companionship and medication prompts.
