About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience necessary; on-the-job training provided in patient or customer-facing roles.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, or must meet specific criteria such as being enrolled in a nursing program or having completed a UAP program.
• Required BLS certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a nurse assistant, emergency medical technician (EMT), or surgical technician within the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive patient care.
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficient and safe operations.
• Performs unit secretary/clerical functions.
• Attends education programs, unit meetings, and assigned committees.
• Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skills).
