Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with resident mobility
• Ability to complete required documentation
• Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR/AED certification

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in long-term care or a healthcare setting
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including mobility, transfers, and personal care
• Follow and support each resident’s individualized care plan
• Advocate for residents’ needs, preferences, and choices
• Encourage and support social relationships and engagement
• Maintain respectful, positive communication with residents, families, and team members
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all residents
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Assist with household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
• Follow all company policies and regulatory requirements
• Report safety or maintenance concerns to leadership
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
