About The Position

As a Cards Product Owner at IHMVCU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of all Credit and Debit card technology and services, ensuring a seamless payments experience for members. This role involves defining, prioritizing, and executing work through all stages of the Product Lifecycle, managing support for various card services, and monitoring industry trends to keep products up to date.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in Financial Institution or Financial Technology.
• 1-3 years as a Debit or Credit Card Analyst, Technical Product Manager, or equivalent role.
• Experience supporting a Debit or Credit Card Portfolio.
• Working knowledge of merchant processing networks and core banking systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ATM networks and card printing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new product development and existing product enhancements align with credit union resources and member needs.
• Provide recommendations for enhancements, eliminations, and new revenue opportunities.
• Develop and maintain an intricate understanding of product technology and operations.
• Monitor industry trends and research new and emerging products.
• Ensure product enhancements are driven by a member-centric mindset.
• Maintain robust product documentation including Roadmap, Agile Backlog, and user acceptance testing documentation.
• Utilize internal and industry data to manage appropriate metrics and KPIs.
• Manage vendor relationships including contracts and escalated product support.
