Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is an independent, non-profit rural healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota. This full-time position will provide patient care in a manner that is consistent with departmental and hospital standards, including those pertaining to infection control and environmental hazards. Wage range: $29.58-$44.36/hour
Requirements
- Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology program, or a minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience.
- BCLS & ACLS required.
- Prairie Lakes Healthcare System has a Drug Free Workplace Policy.
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening and reference check as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record vital signs, patient demographics and other patient statistics
- Assist in all aspects of invasive cardiac procedures
- Prepare skin site for procedures
- Maintain sterility during procedures
- Maintain supply inventory
- Perform daily quality control, reports equipment malfunction to the Cath Lab Director, and reports safety concerns to appropriate personnel
- Rotating Call Shifts including holidays
