About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to support a dynamic Cath Lab team in a full-time, permanent position. In this role, you will assist credentialed providers with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures in cardiac and vascular laboratory environments. You will work under direct physician supervision while managing critical patient care tasks, monitoring hemodynamic data, and maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist training program, OR 2 years of education in allied health science (nursing, respiratory therapy, radiographic technology, or emergency medicine) plus 2 or more years of Interventional Cath Lab experience
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from American Heart Association
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from American Heart Association
  • Must obtain within 12 months of hire: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Certificate OR ARRT Certificate in Vascular Interventional Radiography
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association
  • Ability to work on-call and respond on-site within 30 minutes
  • Commitment to obtaining required specialty certification within 12 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of recent interventional cath lab experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for cardiology and radiology studies
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Assist with cardiovascular tests and record hemodynamic activity using specialized electronic equipment
  • Manage patient arterial and venous access sites post-procedure, including sheath removal
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump equipment as required
  • Recognize and identify cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic waveforms, alerting the credentialed provider immediately
  • Administer intra-coronary and intra-arterial medications under direct physician supervision
  • Prepare and maintain sterile field using proper aseptic technique
  • Perform basic and advanced life support when required, including defibrillation
  • Work on-call rotation with ability to respond on-site within 30 minutes of notification
