We are searching for a talented Cardiovascular Technologist Hours: 40hrs Shift: Day shift, varies 7:00am - 3:30pm, 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm; would consider 9 hour day shifts Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA; Requires to float to other echo locations. Requirements
- Successful completion of accredited program.
- Require attain/maintain certifications/credentials from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing (CCI).
- Adult Echocardiography requires RDCS/RCS.
- Vascular qualification requires RVT/RVS.
- Pediatric qualification requires RDCS (PE)/congenital RCCS is required.
- CPR certification is also required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Nice To Haves
- Two years of clinical experience preferred.
- Looking for a motivated cardiac sonographer with structural heart experience, knowledge of 3D acquisition preferred
Responsibilities
- Position reports to the Manager, Echo Services or Designee perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties require Adult Echocardiography and/or Carotid Ultrasound, Pediatric Echocardiography, Structural Heart procedures, Cardiac Devices procedures.
- Provide health services using procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders.
- Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary of medical ethics.
- Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
- Employee may be required to be scheduled on call to provide STAT services during off hours, when the department is closed.
