Cardiovascular Technologist
About The Position
Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned. Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in a variety of anatomical parts. Recognizes the importance of supporting the team in general care of the patient and family members. Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab.
Requirements
- 1 year of Previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS must be obtained within 45 days of hire date
