About The Position
Bring your passion and interest for Cardiovascular to our Cath Labs where our cohesive teams work all together better to serve our patients when they need us most. Your attention to detail and ability to be responsive to the care of our patients while working together with other Care Team members of the Cath Lab team will be vital to success. Work amongst a robust team including talented Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, and more towards the well-being of our patients. Key Position Details: .75 FTE (60 hours per two-week pay period) 10-hour day/evening shifts Every 3rd weekend rotation
Requirements
- Associate's or Vocational degree graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology program; or Bachelor's degree in life, physical science, or health care related field; or EMT certification
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire
- ACLS-BLS Tier 2 - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - required if working at Abbott Northwestern within 180 days
Nice To Haves
- Cardiovascular Lab or Electrophysiology experience
- Registered Invasive Cardiovascular Technology preferred within 1 year
Responsibilities
- Effectively operates laboratory equipment
- Performs scrub role activities
- Assists physicians in monitoring/circulator role
- Ensures safe environment for patients and staff
- Other duties as assigned.
