About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our cardiac and vascular laboratory team at a Confidential Client facility in Happy Valley, OR. In this role, you will assist credentialed providers with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures in dynamic clinical environments. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced cardiovascular equipment while providing critical support during complex cardiac procedures, with on-call responsibilities and a variable schedule.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist training program OR 2 years of allied health education plus 2+ years of interventional catheterization laboratory experience
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from American Heart Association
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from American Heart Association
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certificate or ARRT Certificate required within 12 months of hire
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
  • Ability to respond on-call within 30 minutes
  • Commitment to obtaining RCES or ARRT certification within 12 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of recent interventional catheterization laboratory experience
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES certification

Responsibilities

  • Serve as scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for cardiology and radiology studies
  • Prepare and position patients for invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Assist with cardiovascular diagnostic tests and record hemodynamic activity using specialized electronic equipment
  • Manage patient arterial and venous access sites post-procedure
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Intra Aortic Balloon Pump equipment when required
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic waveforms
  • Administer intra-coronary medications under direct physician supervision
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields using aseptic technique
  • Perform basic and advanced life support procedures, including defibrillation when required
  • Work on-call schedule with commitment to respond on-site within 30 minutes of call
