The Cardiovascular Intervention Center is a core element of the Smidt Heart Institute, performing more than 8,000 procedures a year. The department serves the populations of neonates to and including geriatrics. In this twelve-laboratory facility, we perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for coronary artery disease, heart muscle function and heart valve dysfunction. We are currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs! Summary of Essential Duties: The Catheterization Lab Technician II assists in all procedures performed in the Cardiovascular Intervention Center and is a member of the Electrophysiology Lab Provides a safe patient care environment, maintains and operates the physiological monitoring/recording system for both interventional cardiac and electrophysiology studies Assists physicians by functioning as scrub tech, monitor role or assistant circulator, archives all digital images and documents all actions taken by the EP Lab Responsible for being able to setup and operate all equipment within the department that may be required for a given procedure including but not limited to: Electrophysiology studies, Ablation, Pacemakers and ICD implants Hours for this position will be 9:00am to 7:30pm four shifts per week. Sign-on bonus is available to new hires only. Current employees are not eligible.
