About The Position

There are three cath labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. We are searching for someone who is passionate about elevating their clinical skillset and values their professional experience they will acquire while working. At Leesburg Hospital, there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated with state-of-art Cath Lab technology and medical devices.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in lieu of education requirements.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire).
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.

Nice To Haves

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred).
• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
• FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies.
• Ensure safe patient care.
• Work as a scrub assistant.
