About The Position

The Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) plays a vital role in the cardiovascular laboratories, assisting healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of serious and complex cardiovascular conditions. Key responsibilities include assisting in the scrub and circulating roles during the procedure, preparing, and maintaining a variety of specialized equipment, providing excellent patient care before, during, and after the procedure. Collaborates and communicates effectively with the care team, and adheres to all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, infection control practices, and patient confidentiality. Proficient in pediatric, adult, and congenital specialty procedures within their assigned lab. Within the Cath Lab this may include structural procedurals and hemodynamics such as coronary spasm studies, TAVR, and peripheral procedures; within Heart Rhythm Services Lab, left bundle branch pacing, OR device extractions, and hybrid ablations Flexible to adapt to changing priorities, procedures, and technologies and demonstrates the ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make sound decisions under pressure. After adequate training, will be required to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Proficient in pediatric, adult, and congenital specialty procedures within their assigned lab
  • Flexible to adapt to changing priorities, procedures, and technologies
  • Demonstrates the ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • After adequate training, will be required to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
  • Not eligible for sponsorship; will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position including F1 OPT Stem
