About The Position

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is home to a dynamic and close-knit Heart and Vascular team, with two Cath Labs, Cardiac Rehab, and Cardio diagnostics where clinical excellence meets cutting-edge technology. We specialize in interventional cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, and electrophysiology device implantations, providing an exceptional opportunity for Registered Nurses (RNs) to elevate their skills while making a direct impact on patient outcomes. Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in lieu of education requirements.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification required within 12 months of hire OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.

Nice To Haves

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification preferred.
• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
• FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies.
• Ensure safe patient care.
• Work as a scrub assistant.
