About The Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direct or indirect supervision of a Cardiovascular
Technologist and in a training situation, sets up and operates equipment for
special procedure x-rays; positions patients for examinations; assists physician
as scrub technologist; performs sterile procedures. Complies with all
appropriate safety and infection control standards. Participates in quality
assessment and continuous quality improvement activities. Performs all job
duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according
to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:  Works under the administrative and technical supervision
of a departmental director or designee and the medical supervision of
Cardiologist who check work for conformance to established standards.
