About The Position

The position is for a full-time role in the Cardiac Cath Lab at High Point Medical Center, requiring 40 hours per week with a schedule of 4-10 hour days. The role includes on-call responsibilities and offers a pay range of $34.90 - $52.35. The candidate will be responsible for adhering to hospital standards, ensuring readiness of emergency equipment, and providing patient care during procedures. The position requires effective communication with patients and team members, maintaining a safe environment, and documenting patient information accurately.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with and certified by the ARRT.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification within 90 days.
• Ability to communicate professionally with healthcare staff.
• Analytical skills for problem assessment and solution.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Ensure readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Recognize and react appropriately to potential emergency situations.
• Provide emergency assistance as required.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Operate all equipment needed for invasive or interventional cardiology.
• Prepare medications and check emergency equipment for proper function.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for departmental records.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain competencies.
