Cardiovascular Special Procedures Tech –EP Are Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together WORK LOCATION \: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093 WORK SCHEDULE \: PRN; 10 hour shifts, 6\:30am-5\:00pm, Monday – Friday EP LAB DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS: Growing Structural Heart Program and LAAO procedure Ability to cross train to other H&V specialties within Heart and Vascular Great unit to learn and advance skillset Recently remodeled EP lab HERE's WHAT YOU NEED: Associates Degree in Applied Science required Or Completion of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required Or High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required. 1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred. ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire required And GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire preferred Or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required. WHAT YOU WILL NEED DO : Imaging Quality and Processing: Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam. Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations. Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Applied Science required Or
  • Completion of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required Or
