About The Position
Use your love of sonography to motivate and inspire future sonographers! We are seeking a Cardiovascular Sonography Instructor to: Be part of a team of motivated educators within a CAAHEP multi modality accredited Sonography School providing quality education to the next generation of sonographers. Ensure that students are well prepared for the following certification examinations conducted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers: Sonographic Principles and Instrumentation (SPI); Adult Echocardiography (RDCS, AE); Pediatric Echocardiography (PE), and Vascular Technology (RVT). Bring your excitement about education, willingness to continue researching education methodologies, and keep current with the newest sonographic technologies. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Graduate of an accredited 2-year certificate program in diagnostic medical sonography Required
- 3 years full-time professional experience as an adult echo and vascular sonographer Required
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in the following specialties: • RDCS (Adult Echocardiography) • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) OR • RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) • RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or another relevant field Preferred
- 5 years full-time professional experience as an adult echo and vascular sonographer Preferred
- ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer), RDCS (Pediatric Echocardiography) Preferred
