In our time of Company growth, we seek a Cardiovascular Sonographer Work Locations: Bradenton, FL As part of this role, you will:
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound studies, including echocardiogram and carotid ultrasound imaging for physician review
- Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information and images
- Create a preliminary sonographer's finding report for each exam
- Manage ultrasound schedules
- Communicate critical information to the Physician as needed
- Maintains professional acumen through active association with professional organizations and attends in-service educational programs and departmental meetings
- Maintains a daily log of patients seen/completes exam billing forms
- Greet and collect patient information and access medical history relevant to the exam
- Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area, and maintains adequate supplies
- Supports the goals and mission of MCR Health, Inc.
- Adheres to the safety policy of MCR Health, Inc.
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time
