About The Position
Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Cardiovascular Sonographer to join the diagnostic Cardiology team. In this role, you will perform non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound procedures of the heart and vascular system, delivering high-quality imaging and accurate preliminary findings that support patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in echocardiography and related cardiovascular studies.
Requirements
- Education: Completion of Certified Cardiac Ultrasound program...
- Licensure: One of the following certifications (current or pending): RDCS Certification, CCI Certification:
- BLS certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound scans (Transthoracic echo with and without contrast; Transesophageal Echo; Pediatric Echo and/or Carotid Duplex)
- Accurately acquire, analyze, and document ultrasound images and measurements
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the exam process clearly and compassionately
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
