The Cardiovascular Sonographer- Regional Float, functions as a member of the healthcare team by providing patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of cardiac and vascular medical conditions. Regardless of ultrasound experience, the expectation of this individual is to train to cardiac and vascular sonography. The individual will record patient history, analyze technical information and provide summaries of findings to physicians. The individual functions as a delegated agent under the supervision of the physician and completes procedures in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ (MCHS) mission, policies, and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality. East Regional Float responsibilities include the MMC-Weston hospital (24/7) and Weston Campus clinic; MC-Wausau Center Echo/Vascular Lab and the outreach sites covered through the MC-Wausau Center Echo/Vascular Lab.
