About The Position

80% FTE, 32 hours per week. You may be eligible for up to a $8,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Monday – Friday day shift with variable start times. At the UWH location: Saturday and Sunday shifts 8:00AM – 4:30PM on a reasonable rotational basis. One hour call response time. Call is at UWH only in rotation with other sonographers. The team supports coverage across the Madison area. Work Schedule : 80% FTE, day shift, Monday – Friday schedule. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: This position may be eligible for a $ 8,000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). We are seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to: Become a member of a dynamic team that focuses on providing an optimal cardiovascular imaging experience. The procedures include; transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements, Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation procedures. Requirements

Graduate of an ultrasonography program
Registered in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound (RCS, RDCS, RVT, or RVS)
Basic Life Support/CPR

Nice To Haves

Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasonography training program.
Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences or a relevant health sciences field.
Two (2) years of cardiovascular imaging experience.
