About The Position

Plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily operations of the Cardiovascular departments. Assists with workflow as necessary. In collaboration with other Cardiovascular/Imaging managers, performs the duties of the director in his/her absence. Provides a variety of administrative -related functions including responsibility for the operational management of Imaging Services departments.

Requirements

Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
OR Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) verification course within 90 days
Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of school of professional nursing
Two years of technical experience in an Cardiovascular Department
Bachelors degree
Progressive management experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated cri tical -thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
