About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position is based within Jefferson Regional Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab. Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the RN is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients in the procedural labs (Cardiac Cath Lab and IVR). This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma in Nursing required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Arkansas Registered Nurse Licensure required.
• BLS/CPR required upon hire or obtain prior to patient care.
• ACLS and PALS required within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Extensive experience in a variety of surgical specialties.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor and train other staff members.
• 2+ years of experience in perioperative nursing.
