You’ll contribute to pre-op prep, intra-op surgical tasks, and post-op care in high-acuity cardiovascular procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited surgical assisting program
- Certified CSFA, CSA, or SA-C required
- 2+ years of OR experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CVOR procedures, aseptic technique, and anatomy
Responsibilities
- Position patients and assist in preoperative preparation
- Provide surgical exposure, achieve hemostasis, and assist with suturing and closure
- Harvest veins or grafts and aid in implant prep as needed
- Apply dressings and support patient transfer post-procedure
