About The Position

Following a major expansion, Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley's capacity tripled, now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. We are a Level III Trauma center, STEMI Cardiac receiving center, and certified stroke treatment center. Qualified external applicants with at least six months of Cardiovascular Lab Specialist experience are eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus! Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies. $4.75 Cath Lab Differential Applies upon hire.

Requirements

Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred
Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred
High School Diploma/GED, required
A graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or graduate of a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology, required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
Must obtain within 18 months: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI; OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through ARRT required
Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SA duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration. required
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 Months of Hire
Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Responsibilities
