About The Position
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assists in the performing of diagnostic tests of cardiovascular systems of patients to aid physician in diagnosis and treatment of heart disorders. Prepares patient for test and explains procedures. Assists in conducting tests to aid in diagnosis of cardiovascular system, using a variety of specialized electronic test equipment, recording devices, and laboratory instruments.
Requirements
- Certified as an ARRT, Cardiopulmonary Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist OR board certified as an EMT and as a Cardiac Technician or Paramedic OR board certified as an EMT with Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
- One year cardiovascular or cardiac cath lab experience.
- BLS certification required.
